MY STORY
“To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event.

MY STORY:
Photography has been apart of my life since I was a young lad. My father was the one that introduced me to this amazing art. He was no professional but you could not tell. His work, in my opinion, was better than a lot of so called professionals out there. Everywhere he went the camera was on his shoulders. My sister and I were his favorite subjects (being a father myself, I can also agree!). He would shoot everywhere and everything. Develop and frame and on to the next. It was cool to see how he visioned the world. We didn't know it yet but he was sort of molding my sister and I to see the world with a different, more creative, view. I used to play and practice with his equipment every chance I had. We would go on trips and hikes often just to shoot. I was learning as much as I can just to try to create what he created.
My Beautiful wife surprised me with my first DSLR. A Canon T6i with kit Lens (I have upgraded to a full frame Canon 6D). That's when this journey began. When I wanted to shoot for fun I would call my Father up and he would let me borrow his equipment. It was always rough to give it back to him. I would do shoots for my friends and their events. I wanted work on certain types of photography like landscapes, portraits and street so I would call him often so I can practice. Once I had my own I knew I wanted to shoot professionally. Posting pictures on social media and showing them to my peers gave me the confidence to take my photography to the next level and still be a true student.
My favorite subject is my family especially my wife and son. Capturing moments is what I enjoy. "Freezing time" is my superpower.
Thank you to my family and friends for motivating me!
